I got into yoga to get out of my head in 2013. It was the first form of working out since being on a swim team that I felt drawn to and challenged by. In 2014 I went through teacher training as I felt a need to do something for myself. Little did I know how much it would change my life and my mind set. I mentored under Sarah and then went on to be certified to teach buti yoga as well. This practice has taken me to Africa as part of Africa yoga project in a seva mission that changed my entire outlook on life. I couldn’t be more grateful for the space on my mat that allows me to organically show up as myself. On the good days and especially the bad days I’m grateful for the opportunity to share what I love. Teaching yoga is a gift that I am eternally grateful for each and every day.
