Contract/Refund Policy: Clients must agree to a 50% refund only after booking until August 19th. After August 19th, Clients agree there is no refund given for any reason (medical, weather, conflicts). No transfers of retreat bookings after August 12th.

  • Yes, for the most part, everything you need is included! The only things not provided are:

    • A refillable water bottle

    • Linens for those bringing their own tent or mattress

    • Any specific dietary items outside the meals and snacks we provide

    SHINE & Rooted Acres will take care of everything else listed on the detailed webpage to ensure a smooth and comfortable retreat experience.

    If you’re a cycling enthusiast (or just enjoy a scenic ride), we highly recommend bringing your bicycle—you’ll have direct access to miles of beautiful biking trails right from the property!

  • Yes, there is electricity available throughout the grounds. The only exception is the wilderness tent, which does not have electricity inside, but there are outlets conveniently located just outside, including by the bathroom sink, in the coffee bar, and near the community pavilion. You'll have plenty of access points to charge your essentials and stay connected if needed!

  • Yes, the well water is safe to drink and it is filtered.

You'll bring and set up your own pop-up tent (setup and breakdown are your responsibility), but you'll have full access to all shared facilities, including showers, restrooms, and common areas. It’s a great way to stay close to nature while still enjoying the comforts of the retreat!

Wilderness Tent
$550 per person (fits 4)

This large, group-style tent offers a cozy and flexible setup—perfect for friends or those looking to share space. It comes with 4 cots already set up or has plenty of room for two queen-size air mattresses (please bring your own if desired). The shower is conveniently accessible and has electricity just outside the tent. A great option for a comfortable, connected, and community-centered retreat experience.

Bunk House

This option sleeps 3 total. One person is on the sleeper sofa in the shared Bunk House sleeping space. The unit includes one top bunk bed, one bottom bunk, and one sleeper sofa, and is equipped with electricity, lighting, a fan, and access to an outdoor heated shower and sink. (An outhouse located behind the kitchen is available for shared guest use.)

Please note: the Bunk House does not have air conditioning.
