My name is Gina Stalworth. I joined the SHINE POWER YOGA team in 2015. My husband Gregory and I reside in Atlantic County with our Rottie Boy Ka'Koaa.
I began my yoga practice 13 years ago for the sole purpose of fitting into my wedding gown. I had no idea at that time that practicing yoga would not only help me transform and heal my physical body, but that it would also serve to feed my mind and fill my soul.
My desire to teach came during my participation in SHINE's first Leadership Bootcamp in November 2014. I completed Shine Power Yoga's Mentorship Program in May 2015 and Grace and Glory Yoga's 200 hr. Teacher Leader Development Program in August 2015. I have furthered my yoga training by completing several Baptiste Programs: Level One, Level Two, Art of Assisting and Advanced Art of Assisting and Yoga For All Training under the leadership of Diane Bondy and Amber Karnes.
My calm demeanor translates into a "Powerfully Calm" flow. I am a stand for promoting inclusion in the world of Yoga. Most specifically by introducing and teaching yoga and wellness to ALL people regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, socio-economic background. I am committed to my belief that every BODY is beautiful; and I seek to share the message of self love and positive body image through the practice of yoga.
