the plarn project

with taryn - fall dates tba

Join us for biweekly afternoons of community service! We will be making Plarn which are mats used by the homeless to protect them from the elements as well as prevent mold, bugs and other unwanted issues with bedding in outdoor weather.

We have plenty of plastic bags that we will be cutting and hand weaving. No experience is necessary, we will teach you!

Before our Plarn Project we are offering a FREE yoga class taught by Allie to say thank you for donating your time to this cause. Only those who stay to make Plarn are eligible for this free class.

The time spent counts as community service hours for high schoolers, and others who need to make this requirement.
